It’s no longer just the domain of hill-billies, but rather the drink of choice for adventurers everywhere. Moonshine is distilled spirits made with any grain or fruit, depending on what’s accessible, though classic moonshine uses corn as fermentable sugar.

While moonshine is an incredibly versatile base for cocktails, the best way to drink it is straight. Why? Because moonshine can be a bit of a chameleon and when you don't have other flavors in the mix, you get to see what's really going on (and what you're really drinking).
